Health & Safety

Health & safety is at the forefront of every project we undertake. To maintain our 100% safety record we ensure full compliance with all health & safety directives and enforce these at all times. We carry out regular safety audits to ensure our operations are carried out to our safe systems of work, along with implementation of preventative measures and the correct wearing, fitting and use of PPE.

In recognition of our commitment to health & safety we have been awarded the SAFEcontractor standard, and in addition to this we employ the services of Citation PLC to oversee our day to day activities and keep us up to date with all the latest guidelines and legislation.

Our continued commitment to training has ensured that we have a fully qualified workforce. We continually monitor individual progress and any further training needs to ensure that our operatives are competent in each task they carry out.

We are members of the CITB where the majority of our training is sourced, in addition to this we carry out regular tool box talks to ensure a full understanding of the work element.

We have operatives trained to the following standards:

• CISRS Basic Scaffolding to NVQ level 2
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolding to NVQ level 3
• FASET Safety net rigging
• Working at height
• IPAF Scissor lift and boom
• Pull tie testing
• Asbestos awareness
• Basic and advanced scaffolding inspection
• Manual handling
